This meeting is most important decision-making body at Shure university.

Twice a month we have this meeting.
We make the final decisions about everything that we talked out at each meeting.
We discuss and decide from small things to big things here.

For example, to check the schedule, report of each project activities, what will we do at next event, and about the manner of clearing up tea cups.

Shure university is steered by students and staff members.
You might feel troublesome, but it’s very democratic and exciting way, we think.

슈레대학교는 자신의 배움을 디자인 하는 대안(alternative)대학교입니다. 알고 싶은 것, 표현하고 싶은 것을 마음 껏 탐구합니다. 아는 것, 표현하는 것을 통하여 나 자신은 누구인지를 묻고, 이 세상에서 어떻게 살아갈지를 생각하는 곳입니다.

자격은 필요없습니다
18세 이상인 분으로 알고 싶고, 표현하고 싶은 것이 있는 분을 대환영합니다.
문부과학성(한국의 교육부에 해당)의 인가를 받은 대학이 아니므로, 대졸자격을 취득할 수는 없지만, 입학에 있어 학력은 필요없으며, 학점에 얽매이지도 않습니다.

앎. 표현하는 것은 자신의 스타일로 탐구하다
각자가 알고 싶은 것 표현하고 싶은 것이 있듯이 그 사람에게 맞는 방법도 각각 다른 법입니다. 슈레대학교에서는 우선 그 사람이 어떻게 알고 싶어하는가 에서 시작하여 현재는 강좌, 그룹프로젝트, 개인 프로젝트를 통하여 실현하고 있습니다.

매력적인 어드바이저. 강사에게 조언을 얻는다
각자의 탐구는 스탭과 상담해가며 진행되는데, 50명의 매력적인 어드바이저나 강사 분들의 말씀.충고를 들을 수도 있습니다.

나는 무엇인가를 탐색
자신은 무엇에 몰두하고 싶은가? 원래 무엇을 좋아하는가?
자신은 어떤 인간인가를 안 다는 것은 쉽지 않습니다. 이 곳에서는 많은 학생들이 앎.표현, 또는 일상의 인간관계를 통해 나는 무엇인가를 끊임없이 생각합니다.

인생 창조
학교의 취업지도를 거쳐 고등학교 대학을 나와 회사 등에 취업하는 삶이 세상의 대부분 인 것처럼 보입니다. 그렇지만, 그 외에도 살아가는 방법은 있습니다. 나는 어떻게 일해가며 살고 싶은지, 돈,시간, 인간관계를 어떻게 꾸려가며 살고 싶은 가를 각자 확인하거나, 관심 있는 분야에서 인턴을 경험하거나, 매력적인 삶을 사는 사람의 이야기를 들으면서 자기자신이 납득 할 만한 인생을 모색합니다.

자신의 관심분야를 직업으로 만들어 가기
슈레대학교 학생들은 ‘월급을 받으니까 이 시간은 참아야 하는 시간이다.’ 라는 식의 일이 아닌, 자신이 보람을 얻어가며 생활에 필요한 금전을 마련하는 식의 일을 각자 모색합니다. 업무 현장을 체험할 수 있는 인턴십 뿐만이 아니라 관심있는 분야를 어떻게 업무로 이어갈 지를 경험 할 수 있는 파일럿 프로젝트도 있습니다. 세계의 선진적인 교육현장을 취재하여 영상으로 정리하여 비디오 제작회사를 통해 전국의 대학. 연구소에 판매하는 학생이나 각자에게 맞는 색깔이나 그림을 넣은 디자인 명함제작도 있습니다. 또한 학생들이 사업을 벌여 슈레대학교를 졸업후 자신이 세운 회사에서 일하는 졸업생 들도 있습니다.

스스로 끊임없이 장(場)을 창조해내다
한사람 한사람에게 맞는 스타일을 실현하기 위해서는슈레대학교 자체도 스스로 창조해 갈 필요가 있습니다. 한 달에 2번 운영회의를 중심으로 학생과 스탭이 슈레대학을 창조합니다.

세계와 서로 연결하다
슈레대학교는 한 건물안에 있으나, 사회전체가 자신들의 캠퍼스라고 생각합니다. 필요에 따라서는 국내외를 막론하고 세계 여기저기를 찾아 다닙니다. 슈레대학교 처럼 스스로가 납득 할 만한 인생을 살고자 앎을 표현하는 장(場)이 있으며, 세계와의 관계도 넓어지고 있습니다. 지금까지 20개국 사람들과 만나 공동으로 영상이나 연극을 제작하기도 했습니다.

사회로. 세계로 발신하기
매년 공연장에서 펼쳐지는 공개 이벤트, 연구내용을 게재한 『슈레대학 개요』, 책자.서적의 발행, 영화.연극 공연을 통해 표현이나 연구를 보다 많은 사람들에게 발신하려는 기회를 마련하고 있습니다.

Purpose
We feel some difficulties of livings every day.
It is not easy to know why we feel difficult to live and who we are.
But, we want to break such difficult days.
We want to be free through film expressions.
There are people who eager to live as they want through making films in the world.
We want to meet such film makers and the people who are fascinated by the theme.

Call for Films
We call for films which suit the theme “Ｉwant to live haw I want”.

The requirements

• The theme : “Ｉwant to live haw I want”
• Conditions of applicants : Experience, age and nationality are not considered.

Any kind of films are welcome.

• Duration : Shorter than 30 minutes
• The language : Japanese or English subtitle
• Video format : NTSC mini DV

We have the open lecutures in Shure University every year.
We made committee meeting about these lectures in April.
We have four lectures in this year. First lecture have held in June.
We want to tell you our passion about these lectures!!!

We want to live as we want to. However, it is so diffcult.
it is so natural that we want to live how we want.
Our way of livingis different from that of the majoritiy. We don’t hurt others. Nevertheless, the majority doesn’t accept different ways.

Yes, our way are different from thier ways. It doesn’t mean we have to follow their ways.
Lecturers are activist of such issues: sexual minority, the homeless, HIV/AIDS and Japanese Korean.
They want to live as they want to. So their activisies are very powerful.

We want to live as we want. Whenever we are conscious about this, we can conect each other.
We want to join the lectures with you who are reading this web site

Many Shure university students are so busy.
Even if it’s night time, there are many students at Shure university.
It’s difficult to cook good meals everyday!
So, some students who like cooking dinner do 3days a week in shifts.
The dinner menus vary from person to person. It’s interesting.
We look forward to this project dinner everytime.
And, it’s fun to eat dinner with together.
